My family shares a story about the first time we visited New York with my younger brother, Ellison, who is 10 years my junior. While I walked and he got pushed around in the stroller by my parents, we traversed through a new up-and-coming neighborhood, Williamsburg. Granted, this would’ve been 2008 or ‘09 - peak hipster culture. Near the Williamsburg Bridge, he spotted a woman dressed in all yellow and simply shouted, “Yellow!”
