Candle Damsel is a beautiful company making hand-poured candles using antique vessels as containers. I love the long life these candle vessels get to live, and the potential for the collection to grow over time. Tiffany is a beauty and created this brand out of her time during the pandemic lockdown. She is among many local talents whom I feel very grateful to know, and see her work thrive in our creative community. We began talking about this shoot after I learned about an undisclosed location (pictured) that she would be able to access “if we ever wanted to”. And of course, I took the opportunity. I was inspired again by a Slim Arons photo of Lady Daphne Cameron sitting in an elaborate entryway, legendarily on a tiger pelt. We skipped the tiger and swapped it for sparkling wine and cake. <3
